Career and Personal Passion
When I graduated from University, I headed off to Europe with some girlfriends, for the first time out of the United States. The 4 of us had a grand time backpack/hostel traveling and meeting new friends in Italy, Greece, Switzerland, Germany, Belgium and France. That was the beginning of my lifelong affair with travel. I came back home and got a job as a Travel Agent, starting my 14-year career in the travel industry. I worked my way up to Manager, and went on many Fam Trips; Costa Rica, China, Tahiti. Then one day in 1987, I got a call from the Mayor's office in Santa Barbara where I lived) who asked if I could put together the Mayor's Delegation to Yalta in the USSR to facilitate Sister City status. I said yes even though I had no idea how to do it! But I did it and months later, I led 30 prominent citizens through Moscow, Leningrad (now St. Petersburg) and Yalta on the Crimean coast. I started a tour business specializing in travel to the former Soviet states, with a Russian, and organized many more tours there. The idea of citizen diplomats forever changed my life by affirming that tourism is a force for peace, and it deepened my passion for the transformational effects of travel.
Digital Marketing Pioneer
Internet Marketing Visionary and Expert
A family tragedy and the birth of my son in 1996 brought my travel days to an end for awhile and in it's place, I discovered The Internet! Enamored of the whole concept of being connected everywhere by the worldwideweb, I dove into a new business with my husband in 1997 providing websites for businesses. I quickly discovered that driving traffic to the websites was a badly needed business service and thus my career in internet marketing was born. I worked at a start-up now valued in the billions, I was a consultant helping companies understand referral/affiliate marketing, I had a thriving agency with big name clients for 10 years becoming quite well known at the time , and over the years have helped countless businesses, large and small, get more traffic and more sales by employing better digital marketing. In addition to Irresistible Retreats, I currently own Authenticity Marketing, specializing in digital marketing for women-owned companies.
Priestess Trained/Love, Sex, Intimacy Devotee/Magdalene Fan
In 1991, after a heartbreaking split-up, I found the book, The Road Less Traveled by M. Scott Peck, ignited my interest in self-awareness and spiritual practice. It has been a winding road through things like Astrology, Tarot and Pleiadian wisdom. I moved on to relationship work like Tantra, David Deida and Love, Sex & Intimacy training by the Human Awareness Institute. That led me to knowing that I needed to start nurturing the divine feminine aspect of myself and how it related to the world. I found the inspiring work of Ariel Spilsbury, and completed 2 full 13-moon (month) initiatory programs into the wisdom of the 13 major feminine archetypes. That transformational work became the foundation of my continuing spiritual development, and devotion to Mary Magdalene as a guide and avatar for our times. My most recent study concerns the vital importance of the "hieros gamos" or "sacred marriage" of the Divine Feminine and the Divine Masculine, both internally and externally, which I believe is the most profound evolutionary work of our times. Trust Love.
These 3 different aspects of myself are now joyfully interwoven to be able to offer visionary teachers/trainers/authors and spiritual leaders the logistical group travel expertise they need + professional digital marketing required to fill the retreats + my devoted soul's true path aligns with your vision; to uplift, transform and ignite the passions of all the seekers among us.
